Hi Patti, The cage and cabinet arrived Monday.   What a pleasant surprise.  I did not expect them until later this week. First....my compliments to the packers.   All pieces came through with no scratches or damage.   And the crates were easy to open! Second ....the stain color is perfect!   A great job! Sheridan and Knut the English Budgies love their new home....lots of room.   And so much nicer looking than that plain wire cage.   I can tell that already  the area around  will be much easier to keep clean. Hello All, I am cleaning my birds' cage and stopped to tell you what a pleasure it is to actually be able to clean it!  I have never once regretted the investment, although I was quite apprehensive before receiving it, as you might remember by my constant emails and phone calls! It is not only beautiful (It is the ONLY piece of furniture I get compliments on!), but keeps my birds safe and healthy.  Thanks for your patience with me, and mostly, thanks for making such wonderful cages.  My birds are always safe, protected, and happy; and I also have a living space free from dander, mess, and an ugly cage. Hi Patti,  It says on your website that 1/3 of your business comes from repeat orders, well the Ultimate Double Wide worked out so well that I can't stand the two little ordinary Hoei cages that my two outcast cockatiels are in.  They want to be part of the flock with the four cockatiels that are in the double wide but one of them is not accepted by the three other males and my lutino female used to be with the other birds but she had a stroke and now her vision is limited.  She is not comfortable with the other birds that could pick on her due to her not being able to see.  Therefore, I would like to order another Ultimate Double Wide for them! Also I wanted to share with you what I came up with in lieu of a cage cover for the Double Wide.  My birds are used to getting covered at night and I've been trying to figure out how to provide them with covers since I got the double wide.  I took the idea from your Plexiglas seed guards that come with the cage, a friend of mine from my local bird store made the inserts in the attached picture.  I took little black pieces of Velcro and stuck them in the corners on the outside of the metal frame and the cloth cage inserts have the opposite side of the Velcro sewn into the corners.  All I have to do at night time is just unfold the inserts and attach them to the Velcro at the top of the metal frame!  Very easy and they look good to!!! Pooh Bear (Yellow Collar Macaw) and my cockatiels are very happy with all the room they have and I'm very happy with how easy the cage is to clean up. This past summer we purchased one of your beautiful Mahogany Double-Wide cages for our Double Yellow Head and African Grey. We have been extremely happy with this lovely cage. It's a beautiful piece of furniture, and it is very well constructed. My husband was worried about assembly, but when the cage arrived, he was amazed at how easily the sections fit together perfectly, without requiring nuts and bolts! My husband is allergic to dust, and our African Grey is very dusty. The unique design of this cage, with its lights, removable dust guards and air filtration system, keeps the dust and feathers out of the room and out of our lungs, while putting our birds on display. When friends come to visit, they are comfortable being in the same room with the birds, enjoying their antics and animated conversations. The birds love the cage. With the unique see-through divider, they can see and be close to each other without fighting….a great design! Cleanup is so easy, and the extra drawers for storage are wonderful.

The people at Avian Accents are very nice to work with. They answered all our questions. They even allowed us to drop by and visit their well-equipped manufacturing facility while we were on vacation. When our cage arrived, we found one of the Plexiglass dust guards had been scratched during shipment. They sent us a replacement guard right away, without delay.

My birds are happy, I'm happy, and even my husband is happy! I wish I had purchased the cage sooner. I can recommend Avian Accents and their Double-Wide cage without reservation.

I received the cage and I have to tell you how wonderful it is. It was packed great and very easy to assemble. I love that there were no screws to deal with. I just put my cockatoo in it and, so far, so good! We have to add some toys and miscellaneous items, but I know he will love it (and me too for the control of the mess) in the long run. If it withstands him, it can withstand anything! (He disassembles the traditional style cages and escapes.)

If there are any issues I will be sure to contact you, otherwise, I look forward to saving up and ordering another cage for one of my other birds.

Just a quick note to let you know how happy I am with my new bird furniture. I've had my Dividable Amazon for several months now, and received my Queen Anne Macaw cage for our new Macaw, Arby, a few weeks ago. The birds love their new homes.

Your bird enclosures are beautifully made and functional, which was my main reason for ordering them. I now fully appreciate the great level of quality and though that went into your design. Based on the robust construction, I think these cages will last a very long time. Horizontal bars give my birds a lot of climbing opportunities and the Acrylic is supported away from the bars so the birds can easily climb, which is a big plus. Slide out Acrylic trays and slide-out stainless steel bottoms make clean-up easy. The rest of the cage just needs a quick wipe down. We have new wooden floors and water damage from bathing birds was a big concern. The acrylic panels have worked perfectly to keep 99% of all water, seeds and feathers inside the cage, while allowing plenty of ventilation. These are not inexpensive cages but, for me, the beauty, bird friendly interiors, no mess floors and easy cleaning are a huge value. I have owned both metal and full Acrylic cages in the past and will never go back.

It's here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's hands down the most beautiful bird house I have ever laid eyes on, thank you so very much !!!! You were absolutely right about putting it together, it was much easier than the Queen Anne, a bit like a puzzle :-) It's amazing !!!!!!!!! Kudos to your builders, I know they've been incredibly backed up and stressed out, as have you - please know you are all so very much appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!! Do you all like Kona coffee, or maybe some mac nuts? Let us know, we'd love to send you something to encourage a little breather now and then !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In any case, once I have everything set up and she settles in comfortably, I'll take some pictures for you. Until then I wonder if I might place an order for some wood perches? My apologies I think I forgot to do that when I ordered the cage I don't know what I was thinking! I think I have some rope perches that might be long enough until yours arrive, so simply let me know when a good time to call is with my card # and I'll go ahead and place an order for 2 or 3 perches at around 1 to 1 and a half diameter I would guess? She's a large CAG so that should probably work? Until then please know you will always have living advertisements in Honolulu! We'll be sure to post pictures of the new cage with our vet's office as well as mainland friends!!!!

Just want to let you know that on Saturday my sister and I put the bird cage together. What a BEAUTIFUL cage!!!!!!!!! : ) The pictures on the web site do not do it justice. Assembly was a piece of cake! Tried to call you Monday to let you how very pleased both my husband and I are with this cage.

Buddy, the noisy one, took to it right away - Scooter on the other hand is a lot more timid and took Saturday night, Sunday, Monday morning to start moving around more. He would chirp for me to move him around in the cage at first, but I had to stop letting him "train" me.

Since I've not had lighting before can you tell me how many hours a day they need light.

Have not tried the cover yet - figured I'd give them a couple of days getting used to the new home and new toys.

Thanks for sending out the little round things for the handle. I purchased two other handles at the hardware store, but they are shiny and do not match the hinges.

BOTH birds are enjoying the new home now : ) I already took a picture of the cage with my digital to show everyone at work. They were impressed. I will have my husband take a picture with his regular camera and send it to you so you can use it on your web site. I'll send the pictures by mail as I'm not quite sure how to send them by e-mail.

I am a absolutely thrilled with the flight cage.  It not only well serves the avian needs of my prized pets, but it is also extremely well built and is a beautiful piece of furniture that works very well with my other pieces.  It is sturdy and strong.  After receiving the professionally crated cage shipment, it took two of us less than fifteen minutes to put it together and ready for the canaries.   It is completely draft free which is very important for the well being of canaries.  The birds are singing and seem to really enjoy the environment it creates.
